Liew May Ying
May Ying is our partner heading the Johor Bahru branch.
May Ying read in chamber of our Managing Partner in year 2012. After she was called to the Malaysian Bar she started practicing in areas of conveyancing, banking and commercial laws.
In 2015, May Ying joined Messrs Chua & Partners as the partner-in-charge of Chua & Partners Kuala Lumpur Branch where her practice focused in areas of corporate commercial and civil litigation, primarily in banking and insolvency covering the recovery of banking facilities and finances pertaining to both conventional banking and Islamic finance and enforcement of debt instruments, including insolvency, receivership and foreclosure proceedings.
May Ying heads the banking and finance litigation team in Messrs Chua & Partners and has provide practical advice and support some of the leading financial institutions’ litigation through numerous successful court proceedings in tiers of the Malaysian Courts.
May Ying has provided pro bono supports to a number of non-profit organizations in Malaysia.
