Wan Teh Fatimah Binti Dato’ Wan Ismail Partner

malaysian lawyer Wan Teh Fatimah Binti Dato’ Wan Ismail

Wan Teh graduated from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) in the year 2007 and had undergone her pupilage at Messrs C.L. Boo & Associates, Kuala Lumpur and was exposed to the various areas of law mainly in Hire Purchase. It is during her pupilage period, she found her calling in the property market that leads her to pursue practice in conveyancing.
On 18th July 2008, she was called to the Bar in High Court of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur and in August of the same year, she joined Messrs Sidek Teoh Wong & Dennis’ Conveyancing department as a conveyancing lawyer focusing on transfer of properties and conventional and Islamic loans.

Two years later, in September 2010, she joined Messrs Kamaruzaman Arif Amran & Chong, as Head of Conveyancing Department, handling primarily the commercial and conveyancing matters, mining laws and debt restructuring exercise. She was involved in a debt restructuring process for a well known Corporation worth about RM 400 Million in favour of a Selangor State Government Linked Company and a year later, Wan Teh left Messrs Kamaruzaman Arif Amran& Chong to join us to further diversify the firm.

She believes that the legal profession is best described by the words of John W. Davis – “True, we build no bridges. We raise no towers. We construct no engines. We paint no pictures – unless as amateurs for our own principal amusement. There is little of all that we do which the eye of man can see. But we smooth out difficulties; we relieve stress; we correct mistakes; we take up other men’s burdens and by our efforts we make possible the peaceful life of men in a peaceful state.
